The capacity of Sammic pass-through dishwashers, in detail
Thanks to their practical height, Sammic pass-through dishwashers can work with practically any type of glass, cup or plate. In addition, the 430 mm of usable height allows for trays and pans of varying sizes to be washed. Let's see this in detail.
Gastronorm
GN is a standard size in the catering system, regulated by EN 631, which uses universal standard sizes for containers, trays, pans and equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, cabinets, water trolley baths, buffet displays.
The maximum size allowed for this type of tray is GN 1/1, 530 x 325 mm.
Euronorm
Another common standard in the catering industry is the Euronorm standard, which is widely used for trays. Sammic hood type dishwashers can wash Euronorm 1/1 and smaller sizes.
The size that fits in Sammic hood type dishwashers is the Euronorm 1/1, i.e., 530 x 370 mm.
As in the case of Gastronorm, the maximum container depth is determined by the capacity of the basket for Gastronorm trays and bowls in use.
Pans
A hood type dishwasher is basically designed for washing crockery and glassware. However, in addition to the above-mentioned bowls and trays, it can also function as a small utensil washer, making it possible to load pans with a diameter of up to 40 cm and a height of up to 40 cm.
39 cm diameter pizza plates
Sammic's AX and UX hoods can be used to wash large-sized items. Thus, the AX/UX hood offer more space and capacity even for washing pizza dishes with a 39 cm diameter.
600 x 400 mm bakery/pastry trays
In the case of bakery/pastry trays, 600 x 400 mm is the most common size. These can be washed in the Sammic single-wall dome dishwasher, provided that the open basket is used to load them and the product is loaded and unloaded from the front of the machine.
Therefore, installing the machine at an angle would be ideal for washing this type of trays.
